LOL.2008 has been a great year. Some mistakes made but it has been some what a joy. NUS Sajak, Nationals, falling in love with Lewis (yes, i love my hamster) and Lewis Hamilton (yes, i love him too), getting to know Maziyah and finally, Orientation.
I'll try to make next year a great year but without Syifa and MY minah around?(Oh wait, MY minah will be just next door. HAH)We will see:)Goodnight and goodbye 2008.You have left us questioning what the future holds in store for us.

 Yea, well orientation is over. Im kind of sad, disappointed maybe but im really happy to be part of the organising committee. The whole experience has been the highlight of 2008 for me.
I have learnt alot from the other OICs and Mrs Koh that will definitely make me a better leader. It was great to see the smiles on the faces of the sec1s and hear laughter echoing from the corridors. Seeing the sec1s enjoying themselves, is really really satisfying.
The other 5 OICs are great leaders and I really had fun planning orientation with you guys. Esp when we went around perfroming our Gako Geko PONG (!) and our little date at WSL:D:D:D
And here is a little shout out to all the leaders that made Orientation possible. You guys really modelled the way for the sec1s.The sec4 leaders also helped us alot along the way and we are very thankful for that.
I just really hope that we managed to impact the sec1s positively.

ABANDON THE UNIVERSE
Orientation Day 1 was okaaaay. Huge confusion in the morning but once that was sorted out, everything went quite fine, not perfect but good enough. It was only day one so that sec1s were a bit apprehensive. Remem our orientation(!) Hafizah was the only enthu person and i was starting at her and thinking wth is her prob. HAHAH. And we did sotong solid for Leena. Ah, such fun times. I just hope the next two days will be better and we, OIC will do our best to improve too. Haha pam is really cute and funny and cute and funny.(LIKE HER SISTER):D You know what, i realise one of the benefits of being a leader is that we get to experience 4 Orientations but other Cedarians only get to experience it once:) Leena came to sch after Orientation! Then we and Sharianty went to wheelock to get sch supplies. Borders is so amazing. I dont mind working there part-time esp if there is discount for employees. Hah, my mom said studious ppl go to borders. Studious? Ah maybe.(We are just attracted to it bcos of the cute stuffs there) Leena and Sharianty are getting lunchboxes to act as pencil cases. They are imaginative. Then we went to FEP. There were so many mats there with their tall tall caps. Leena said,' i bet am taller than them if they take off their caps' SO LOUDLY. And a group of mats heard her. Luckily they just stared, luckily no drama. Lol, Lee the pimp wannabe met us later on cos she was bored at home.Lee looked like a big huggable pooh bear. Lee said she wanted to be an educated pimp. -_-. All the best dear. L says time will heal the wounds, now distance will too. ps: I love Nailah, she is my awesome sister! (who doesnt keep secrets frm me) pss: I HATE NASUHA cos she didnt tell me earlier. (like wth ahhhhhhhh) psss: I only have ss and eng reviews left! Woo.

So sad Farhain went to Malaysia and Izah, best broke her leg. Haha. We were divided into group for the TLC Quest and my group was named the AWESOME FOURSOME! Haha, and of course, we were an awesome group! Heh, lots of the games required us to think and it didnt help that my brain was still not awake. Typical. But omg, the sec1s are so smart. Then we had lunch either kfc or macs. I was so reluctant to spend my money, im so irritatingly broke and i still need to get sch supplies and Christmas presents! HUR. I shared my food with Pamela, my long lost sister (we are sisters cos we have the same medical condition that makes us so cool. We have a hole in our hearts. ISNT THAT COOL?) Pam can do the bestest Ah lian face, it cracks me up all the time. Then we started to get bored from hearing Sharianty talk about how the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still was such an awesome movie. I suddenly remembered the time Leena put ice in Hafizah's sch shirt and that minah started jumping up and down. Then i saw ice on the table aaaaand, took it and put it in Sharianty's house tee to shut her up. As expected, she could not keep still. Damn hilarious. Then, i dared her to do the same on Fongwa. Surprisingly she accepted the dare but told Fongwa that it was my idea. Fongwa chased me all over the canteen with a bag of fries in her hand. Then had some board discussion thingy. Our group was the most creative in a weird, ABSTRACT WAY! The other group kept peeping to see what we wrote cos all our ideas were so awesome esp our ideas for bonding sessions within PSB. Example, JUNIOR BULLY SENIOR DAY and GO FLY KITE DAY(literally go to a park and fly a kite). Isnt that like awesome? Hopefully they will be accepted! Heh, we also found out that we now can post irrelevant things on the PSL blog. I think I will add more life to it with some of Lewis Hamilton's pictures. Heh Heh Heh, like I dare;) What mrt station was previously a tellytubby? EXPO! ps: 2 more days to Orientation! GAH. pss: I went to the docters today. Hospitals are such sad places, dont you think so? psss: Leena dreamt that smthing terrible happend to me. Gah, dude, you have such sad dreams and bad aura.You have to think HAPPY THOUGHTS. Geng Pisang finally had an outing after thousands of years, we went to E!hub to catch Twilight and to celebrate Syifa's conversion to a Victorian. *Ahemahem* LOL. Meet Farhain at Eunos before heading to Pasir Ris. We bought a dozen donuts for Syifa's surprise before meeting her at the Mrt Station. I said that the donuts were for Farhain's mom but i forgot that she was still at Mekkah. Luckily, Syifa didnt remember that.
We were spoilt for choices at the Cinema. Couldnt decide whether to watch Twilight, IPMan (pronounced as Eeeep Mun), YesMan, CicakMan or some others. After a long deliberation, we finally agreed on the non-Man choice. but we told Aliah that we bought tickets for IPMan, the Bruce lee inspired, Jackie Chan-ish movie. Aliah was so obviously apprehensive when we told her that we bought tickets for that but being Aliah, she just said okay. Lol, Aliah wants to watch Twilight 5 times. Woah, I dont think i can stand looking at Edward and Bella staring into each others eyes that long without throwing popcorn at the movie screen.
Aliah realised that we were faking it once she saw the movie times. Cant fool a triple sci kid that easily eh? Hehe. The movie was surprisingly pleasant, although the first part was really really boring. The highlight definitely has to be the baseball part. Its so cool. Farhain got so bored that she started making stupid but honest comments about Edward. Aliah was pissed off but luckily didnt throw her coke at her. Both me and Syifa agreed that Edward will be super hot if not for his face. Sorry Aliah, its such a turn off. Heh Heh.
But as a whole, its not too bad a movie. I dont mind watching it again actually:D. Farhain's comments is the funniest. In her words, "I felt like a tortured boyfriend being dragged by his girlfriend to the movies watching a romance movie that he can't relate to."

After that, I sneaked Syifa off to the toilet so that the rest could get ready the donut surprise. When we came back to The Coffee Bean, they erupted into a Happy Farewell song for Syifa. Messy but Syifa didnt mind it:D Heh, We talked crap for a long time while acting like those cool rich kids sipping on rich coffee although there was no coffee in the picture. Heh, the donuts polished us off. Oh boy did we crap. I accidentally said Tyra Swift instead of Taylor Swift. Oh didnt you know, Aliah always wanted to be an Ahlian but never got the chance to? LOL. Its sokay Aliah, now the whole wide world knows and you can now finally live your dreams. Hah. Then across we saw this. Farhain said I could not sit there cos I am not straight. Like wth? I AM 99% STRAIGHT. I love tyra banks, I cant help it.

Oh shucks, now that Syifa is in VJ, she wont be lepaking at Parkway anymore. She will hangout at bedok. Nearer to Mazee. Sheesh, you might have won this time Maziyah, but i wont give up. Woopy! Geng Pisang outing tomor. We are celebrating Syifa and Sharizah's existence but Sha cant come so Syifa will be able to hog all the limelight. Haha, i know its gonna be super awesome but sad. I told myself that i must must try to hold back all tears. Cos if i cry, everyone will start and the waterworks will not end and that will be awful cos its suppose to be a happy occasion. That will the best. During the trip i kept calling Nailah a Minah Indon cos i thought she looked like one.Omg, only now i realise how mean that is. OMG. I always find myself wondering why Ml meetings are always so kecoh. We digress like nobody's business while Kak Nana tries her hardest to be a good president and keep us on track. Ml meetings are the funniest meetings ever. Believe me, with a mat, a minah, a president and vice president who 'lost' the ML fund (!) and Aliah who cracks us up with her jokes and Sec1s, oh boy Sec1s who are so not innocent. It doesnt get any better. Thats why ML is so batu.:D:D:D
The bangla magnet just bought new shoes, BRIGHT PINK, that brings her minah-o-meter up a notch. I offered to make-over Kak Nana with Izah's makeup, but Kak Nana declined after what i did to her face when we were at PPMacs:O It was not THAT bad whaaaaat:P
The word if the day today is KAMBING (sheep or goat, im not too sure:D), bcos Sha could not stop talking about kambings on the way to PPMacs. Sha was getting all emotional because she said she saw a kambing cry before it got slaughtered yest. Like woah. Thats why Sha shd consider being a kambing psychologist, because she has this SPECIAL BOND with kambings. She can sense if they are sad or happy. Serious Shaaaa, you can earn big bucks then we all can tompang glamour! Wth.
At PPMacs, me and Izah saw Syu and Aisyah. Omg, Aisyah seriously looks exactly like Syu with her now rebonded hair. Im so happy, im gonna be in the same class at Syuuuuu.:D
Anyway, then we went to Simie to get some stuffs for tomor's farewell. The train ride there was so kekek. We were like talking about girls who dont shave their armpits then suddenly the guy sitting next to us took out his shaver and started shaving his moustache. Like yes, in the middle of the train. AND his shaver was so damn noisy, all ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Everyone was looking. We were so amazed, is not a usual thing to see a guy shaving in the mrt. (!)
While we were having lunch, Izah damn disgusting ah. Going out with her can be super irritating unless you bring along a portable toilet. So you get the idea. That or Izah better fix her blader prob. Disgusting. Heh. Omg, then a funny thing happend. Farhain was eating something with chopsticks and i wanted a piece of mushroom so i took the chopsticks from her. Then Izah was like, OH oh Hanan cant use chopsticks, remember what happend at Cameron? She totally jinxed me can. And yeaaa, I tried to pick up the mushroom but the chopstick somehow went FLYING and yeaaaa. The only thing i remember was gravy on Farhain's shirt. :O Heh Heh.

Yea, well orientation is over. Im kind of sad, disappointed maybe but im really happy to be part of the organising committee. The whole experience has been the highlight of 2008 for me.
I have learnt alot from the other OICs and Mrs Koh that will definitely make me a better leader. It was great to see the smiles on the faces of the sec1s and hear laughter echoing from the corridors. Seeing the sec1s enjoying themselves, is really really satisfying.
The other 5 OICs are great leaders and I really had fun planning orientation with you guys. Esp when we went around perfroming our Gako Geko PONG (!) and our little date at WSL:D:D:D
And here is a little shout out to all the leaders that made Orientation possible. You guys really modelled the way for the sec1s.The sec4 leaders also helped us alot along the way and we are very thankful for that.
I just really hope that we managed to impact the sec1s positively.

ABANDON THE UNIVERSE
Orientation Day 1 was okaaaay. Huge confusion in the morning but once that was sorted out, everything went quite fine, not perfect but good enough. It was only day one so that sec1s were a bit apprehensive. Remem our orientation(!) Hafizah was the only enthu person and i was starting at her and thinking wth is her prob. HAHAH. And we did sotong solid for Leena. Ah, such fun times. I just hope the next two days will be better and we, OIC will do our best to improve too. Haha pam is really cute and funny and cute and funny.(LIKE HER SISTER):D You know what, i realise one of the benefits of being a leader is that we get to experience 4 Orientations but other Cedarians only get to experience it once:) Leena came to sch after Orientation! Then we and Sharianty went to wheelock to get sch supplies. Borders is so amazing. I dont mind working there part-time esp if there is discount for employees. Hah, my mom said studious ppl go to borders. Studious? Ah maybe.(We are just attracted to it bcos of the cute stuffs there) Leena and Sharianty are getting lunchboxes to act as pencil cases. They are imaginative. Then we went to FEP. There were so many mats there with their tall tall caps. Leena said,' i bet am taller than them if they take off their caps' SO LOUDLY. And a group of mats heard her. Luckily they just stared, luckily no drama. Lol, Lee the pimp wannabe met us later on cos she was bored at home.Lee looked like a big huggable pooh bear. Lee said she wanted to be an educated pimp. -_-. All the best dear. L says time will heal the wounds, now distance will too. ps: I love Nailah, she is my awesome sister! So sad Farhain went to Malaysia and Izah, best broke her leg. Haha. We were divided into group for the TLC Quest and my group was named the AWESOME FOURSOME! Haha, and of course, we were an awesome group! Heh, lots of the games required us to think and it didnt help that my brain was still not awake. Typical. But omg, the sec1s are so smart. Then we had lunch either kfc or macs. I was so reluctant to spend my money, im so irritatingly broke and i still need to get sch supplies and Christmas presents! HUR. I shared my food with Pamela, my long lost sister (we are sisters cos we have the same medical condition that makes us so cool. We have a hole in our hearts. ISNT THAT COOL?) Pam can do the bestest Ah lian face, it cracks me up all the time. Then we started to get bored from hearing Sharianty talk about how the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still was such an awesome movie. I suddenly remembered the time Leena put ice in Hafizah's sch shirt and that minah started jumping up and down. Then i saw ice on the table aaaaand, took it and put it in Sharianty's house tee to shut her up. As expected, she could not keep still. Damn hilarious. Then, i dared her to do the same on Fongwa. Surprisingly she accepted the dare but told Fongwa that it was my idea. Fongwa chased me all over the canteen with a bag of fries in her hand. Then had some board discussion thingy. Our group was the most creative in a weird, ABSTRACT WAY! The other group kept peeping to see what we wrote cos all our ideas were so awesome esp our ideas for bonding sessions within PSB. Example, JUNIOR BULLY SENIOR DAY and GO FLY KITE DAY(literally go to a park and fly a kite). Isnt that like awesome? Hopefully they will be accepted! Heh, we also found out that we now can post irrelevant things on the PSL blog. I think I will add more life to it with some of Lewis Hamilton's pictures. Heh Heh Heh, like I dare;) What mrt station was previously a tellytubby? EXPO! ps: 2 more days to Orientation! GAH. pss: I went to the docters today. Geng Pisang finally had an outing after thousands of years, we went to E!hub to catch Twilight and to celebrate Syifa's conversion to a Victorian. *Ahemahem* LOL. Meet Farhain at Eunos before heading to Pasir Ris. We bought a dozen donuts for Syifa's surprise before meeting her at the Mrt Station. I said that the donuts were for Farhain's mom but i forgot that she was still at Mekkah. Luckily, Syifa didnt remember that.
We were spoilt for choices at the Cinema. Couldnt decide whether to watch Twilight, IPMan (pronounced as Eeeep Mun), YesMan, CicakMan or some others. After a long deliberation, we finally agreed on the non-Man choice. but we told Aliah that we bought tickets for IPMan, the Bruce lee inspired, Jackie Chan-ish movie. Aliah was so obviously apprehensive when we told her that we bought tickets for that but being Aliah, she just said okay. Lol, Aliah wants to watch Twilight 5 times. Woah, I dont think i can stand looking at Edward and Bella staring into each others eyes that long without throwing popcorn at the movie screen.
Aliah realised that we were faking it once she saw the movie times. Cant fool a triple sci kid that easily eh? Hehe. The movie was surprisingly pleasant, although the first part was really really boring. The highlight definitely has to be the baseball part. Its so cool. Farhain got so bored that she started making stupid but honest comments about Edward. Aliah was pissed off but luckily didnt throw her coke at her. Both me and Syifa agreed that Edward will be super hot if not for his face. Sorry Aliah, its such a turn off. Heh Heh.
But as a whole, its not too bad a movie. I dont mind watching it again actually:D. Farhain's comments is the funniest. In her words, "I felt like a tortured boyfriend being dragged by his girlfriend to the movies watching a romance movie that he can't relate to."

After that, I sneaked Syifa off to the toilet so that the rest could get ready the donut surprise. When we came back to The Coffee Bean, they erupted into a Happy Farewell song for Syifa. Messy but Syifa didnt mind it:D Heh, We talked crap for a long time while acting like those cool rich kids sipping on rich coffee although there was no coffee in the picture. Heh, the donuts polished us off. Oh boy did we crap. I accidentally said Tyra Swift instead of Taylor Swift. Oh didnt you know, Aliah always wanted to be an Ahlian but never got the chance to? LOL. Its sokay Aliah, now the whole wide world knows and you can now finally live your dreams. Hah. Then across we saw this. Farhain said I could not sit there cos I am not straight. Like wth? I AM 99% STRAIGHT. I love tyra banks, I cant help it.

Woopy! Geng Pisang outing tomor. We are celebrating Syifa and Sharizah's existence but Sha cant come so Syifa will be able to hog all the limelight. Haha, i know its gonna be super awesome but sad. I always find myself wondering why Ml meetings are always so kecoh. We digress like nobody's business while Kak Nana tries her hardest to be a good president and keep us on track. Ml meetings are the funniest meetings ever. Believe me, with a mat, a minah, a president and vice president who 'lost' the ML fund (!) and Aliah who cracks us up with her jokes and Sec1s, oh boy Sec1s who are so not innocent. The bangla magnet just bought new shoes, BRIGHT PINK, that brings her minah-o-meter up a notch. I offered to make-over Kak Nana with Izah's makeup, but Kak Nana declined after what i did to her face when we were at PPMacs:O It was not THAT bad whaaaaat:P
The word if the day today is KAMBING (sheep or goat, im not too sure:D), bcos Sha could not stop talking about kambings on the way to PPMacs. Sha was getting all emotional because she said she saw a kambing cry before it got slaughtered yest. Like woah. Anyway, then we went to Simie to get some stuffs for tomor's farewell. The train ride there was so kekek. We were like talking about girls who dont shave their armpits then suddenly the guy sitting next to us took out his shaver and started shaving his moustache. Like yes, in the middle of the train. AND his shaver was so damn noisy, all ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Everyone was looking. We were so amazed, is not a usual thing to see a guy shaving in the mrt. (!)
While we were having lunch, Izah damn disgusting ah. Going out with her can be super irritating unless you bring along a portable toilet. So you get the idea. That or Izah better fix her blader prob. Disgusting. Heh. Omg, then a funny thing happend. Farhain was eating something with chopsticks and i wanted a piece of mushroom so i took the chopsticks from her. Then Izah was like, OH oh Hanan cant use chopsticks, remember what happend at Cameron? She totally jinxed me can. And yeaaa, I tried to pick up the mushroom but the chopstick somehow went FLYING and yeaaaa. The only thing i remember was gravy on Farhain's shirt. :O Heh Heh.
